After a competition has finished can I show leaderboard points?

In my original setup I did not specify the points scoring method. Now the competition has finished I went back and updated the points scoring method to WA Combined Events but the leaderboard and points for athletes does not update. Is this something I can only do in Phase 1? Is there a way to go back and have the system calculate the points?

You can actually change the scoring formula at any moment, before, during and after the competition.

However, in this specific case, all events were setup as single events and not as a combined event. That is a change which is quite hard to make.
